Micha Biton

Micha Biton will take your breath away when you read his story on the flyer below and when you hear his inspiring music. As with all Kolot Management performers, he is happy to be part of your fundraising efforts. We are bringing Micha to North America to commemorate October 7 on October 6-10 and then again in November/December. Here is a feature article on Micha’s survival from the October 7 massacre.

I think you will be very moved by this song. It is quite the ballad and Micha is quite the performer. He and his family are still evacuated from Netiv HaAsara to Tel Aviv and the trauma is great. Here is Kol Koreh Bamidbar (Aneini) in Hebrew and Kol Koreh Bamidbar (Aneini) – English Version.

Lyrics:
Answer me, answer me, answer me, my Lord
A voice calling in the desert
Asking only one thing
Spirit of heaven place and peace
The morning prayer, the song of the sea
ענני ענני ענני אלוהי
קול קורא במדבר
מבקש רק דבר
רוח שמיים מקום ושלווה
תפילת הבוקר שירת הים

This is Micha Biton singing his song about Israel since Oct. 7, entitled Hutar L’pirsum. The song is especially poignant from him, as an evacuee from Netiv HaAsara where 22 members of the community were murdered. It was recorded live in Hostage Square in Tel Aviv at the weekly gathering for the return of the hostages. The introduction is Micha talking about the importance of getting the hostages released and dedicating the song to his 3 “brothers” who were murdered on Oct. 7 – if you want to skip the intro, advance the video to 1:25 minutes:

Here is an English translation of the lyrics of verses two and three:

Permission Was Granted to Publish

Permission was granted to publish
That he has a name that was uttered by his loved ones
Who called him with great joy
And that now will be engraved on a tombstone
And beside it will be written that he fell in battle
And candles and flowers and a dream that was buried
Together with him

Permission was granted to publish
That he has parents and countless tears
And a woman for whom the light of tomorrow has dimmed
And a child or a brother who will forever ache
And fresh dirt covering a future

Newsflash! Here is Micha’s newest song that just premiered today – you are hearing L’hitahev Maichadash/ To Fall In Love Again on its birthday!

Call me to book an exhilarating musical performance & personal story.
